Chop Chop boards are meant to last for years.
We recommend oiling your board 2-3 times a month.

Cleaning
(After every use)
- Hand wash only: Never submerge in water or run through a dishwasher
- Use mild soap: Wash with warm water and a small amount of gentle dish soap.
- Scrub gently: Use a sponge or soft brush to remove food particles and stains.
- Rinse thoroughly: Ensure all soap residue is washed off.
- Air dry: Stand the board upright or pat dry with a clean cloth. Allow to air dry completely before storing,

Oiling
(On a clean and dry surface)
- Apply food-safe oil: For oiling, you can apply food-safe options like mineral oil or a blend of beeswax and mineral oil for enhanced protection and shine.
- Application: Ensure the cutting board is clean and completely dry
- Mineral Oil : Apply a generous amount directly onto the board. Use a clean cloth to rub oil into the wood grain in a circular motion.
- Beeswax and mineral oil mixture: Warm the mixture slightly is solidified. Apply a thin layer using a cloth, working it into the wood in a circular motion.
- Absorption: Allow the oil or wax to penetrate the wood for several hours or preferably overnight.
- Wipe Off Excess: Use a dry cloth to remove any remaining oil or wax before using the boa
Caution
Avoid cutting in the same spot on your board.
Avoid putting any kind of hot objects on the surface. Avoid letting liquids sit on the board for too long.
