Our Story

From our family to yours
Founded by their grandfather, Chop Chop is a family business passed down through generations. Today, Andréanne and Marie-Pier are proudly taking over, continuing its expertise and values.
Launched in 2016, Chop Chop has become a leading brand, offering genuine wood cutting boards that combine quality, durability, and competitive pricing.
Proudly made in Canada.
Our products
Concerned about a sustainable and eco-responsible future, we use the best quality of trees, the same portion that is used for hardwood. This allows us to guarantee our products and also to have clear wood, free of knots and stains.
We are always looking for innovation and optimization, which is why we have developed aluminum stabilizer feet. This process, unique in the world, is done completely by us and only for our products.
We have also completed the recycling loop and eliminated waste by reclaiming all of our retail and production now eco-friendly logs with no additives or chemicals.

Our wood species
We exclusively use four hardwood species: Maple, Cherry, Walnut, and Birch. These are all food-safe hardwoods suitable for direct contact with food. They are also locally sourced whenever possible, helping us minimize our carbon footprint.
All manufacturing and assembly are completed at our facility, eliminating unnecessary transportation and external handling. Every board undergoes a rigorous four-step quality inspection throughout production: an initial inspection before manufacturing, a second after sanding, a third after the oil finish is applied, and a final inspection before packaging.
This comprehensive quality control process ensures that every board meets our high standards and is ready to take pride of place in your kitchen.

Quality conscious
Chop Chop is a brand offering the best value cutting boards on the market.

Sustainable
Given our concern for a more sustainable future, we were looking to offer a cutting board to replace your plastic ones.

Family business
First founded in 1977 by their grandfather, Marie-Pier and Andréanne Paquette are now following in the footsteps of their father to take over the family business.
